She’s using a CB radio to talk to people all over. We hear lots of radio frequencies and then zoom through a wormhole back to Earth where we meet a young Ellie Arroway. We’re zooming through the galaxy as the Earth gets smaller and smaller. So the best way to do that, in my opinion, is to look at the Contact movie plot first.
